 | Poseidon | Based on 2006 film release of the the 1972 classic, the game developers wanted to mimick the film's gritty, harrowing atmosphere of being inside a sinking cruise liner. Using a variety of custom sound cues and evocative minor chords I generated the background loop that offers the realistic and immersive, yet unobtrusive aural backdrop required for the player's escape from the sinking ship. |
 | The Greek Spy | This is a new CD release by Sunstrange Music. Tao composes and plays Electronica with elements of Intelligent Dance Music and World filtered through a pop sensibility. Vocals by Amy Carpenter. |
 | Absolute Calm | Music Soundtrack for a short film directed by Roey Shmool. Shown at the Cannes Film Festival, May 2008. |
 | Kalipolis | The subject of the film and the beauty of the photography inspired the simple yet provocative music for this film. Directed by Minos Pappas. |
 | The Incredibles | Disney Online created an internet game for kids to discover their own super powers as a promotional piece for the film Incredibles, a Pixar feature. Sound Design and Foley effects were created by Sunstrange Music. |
 | First Wave | Sci fi TV series produced by Francis Ford Coppola. It was shown in the US on the Sci-Fi channel and is now in syndication around the world. My song "Love is Strange" was featured prominently in the series. |
 | Unreal | Documentary style romantic comedy shot in NYC and distributed by Life Size Entertainment. I contributed 3 songs on the film soundtrack. |
 | SBC | In 2005 SBC launched a new website combining Smart Pages, Yellow Pages, and Real Pages. This music was created as a backdrop for a highly interactive web based showcase and tutorial for the features of the new site. Sound effects were also developed by Sunstrange Music. |
 | Hot Wheels | Mattel created a Plug and Play 1 or 2 player racing game for their Hot Wheels brand. Sound effects were created for car interactions and special effects. |
 | Inharmony | Directed by acclaimed Director Michael Pappas. Michael shot this film in Cyprus with an international cast, then he screened it for me on my visit there and we discussed the music he envisioned at length. It then became a long distance collaboration. |
 | Pauly Shore | Fox Home Entertainment and Pauly Shore wanted to poke more fun at the comic by creating a web game promoting the DVD release of his critically acclaimed film about his own death. Sunstrange created a soundtrack and sound effects for the game. |
 | The Pretender | NBC's The Pretender was published on DVD in 2005 by Fox Home Entertainment. An elaborate website was created to showcase the series. Background music and effects editing was done by Sunstrange Music. |
 | LYS+R | LYS&R, a Los Angeles based law firm, grants full ride, 4 year scholarships to children who have grown up under particularly trying circumstances. This piece was designed for a web based animation showcasing the program and the 2005 winner of the scholarship. |
 | I KNOW | In the summer of 2005 100's of young people scattered throughout NY wearing enigmatic t-shirts and handing out mysterious stickers and coins were the launching point of a month long campaign to promote AIDS awareness. MTV ran this spot for several months during the campaign. |
 | Bloody Mary | Set in an old mental asylum somewhere in the Nortwest, this creepy and bloody thriller provides plenty of scares and very good production values. |
 | Winter Works | I was asked to create a haunting soundscape that could play perpetually on a loop to accompany a show of video art, photography and paintings for "ART in GENERAL". |
 | Bouncy Bouncy Baby | The client needed fun uptempo music that makes children move and bounce to the rhythm. I chose a blend of bossa nova and lounge techno and created several pieces to accomplish the festive and exuberant feel that match the interaction between the baby wrangler and a bevy of children in different fun situations. |
 | LAS | Sound design and ambient soundtrack created for the website showcasing the work and clients of L.A. Studios Inc., a Los Angeles based Sound Mixing company. |
