About Tao Zervas:

Tao Zervas is a music composer and producer based in New York City. He brings to his work many years of experience in the alternative rock scene as a songwriter, producer and guitar player for the critically acclaimed bands Summer Suspiria and Soulpusher. Tao is currently the creator of numerous sonic projects for film, television, sound design and gallery installations. This album ..... just get it.Under the name "Greek Spy" a collection of IDM and world/electronica pieces has generated a significant amount of licensing and has spawned a follow up album "Greek Spy 2" ( June 2009) in a similar vein of ambient electronica infused with mystery.On the film scoring front one of Tao's scores made an appearance at the Cannes film festival in 2009 as the soundtrack for "Absolute Calm" a film directed by Roey Schmool. Also the score for the supernatural feature film "Shutterbug" directed by Minos Papas is now available, (November 2009) to coincide with the commercial release of the film. The score is generating great reviews. At the same time Tao has been hard at work on the orchestral score for "Little Ulysses and the Cyclops" a feature by Cyprian Films directed by Michael Papas. A new rock album is planned for the Spring of 2010. The songs have been written and it is only a matter of assembling the right team for the recording. The beginning of 2010 has also found Tao writing the soundtrack for "Wisdom and Ways to Care" a documentary film about legendary civil rights leader Dorothy Height. At the same time Tao is in the studio producing the first album of an amazing new rock band "Hey Guy" that promises to make a big splash this year.
